Hi @Kazabs

Thank you for your message.

Just to clarify, 101 is not an emergency services number. It is the non-emergency number for reporting issues to the police.

If you are unable to call 101, there are a few common reasons this may happen:

  • Network or coverage issues in your area preventing the call from connecting
  • Account restrictions, such as service suspension due to billing or credit status
  • Call barring or spending controls enabled on your account
  • A temporary network fault or outage

Please also note that emergency services should always be contacted on 999 or 112, and these numbers should work from any active mobile service, even if your account has restrictions.

Also, if you are still facing the same issue please follow the below:

  • Restart your handset to refresh your network connection
  • Check that you have mobile signal or try moving to a different location
  • Ensure Airplane Mode is switched off
  • Go to Settings > Network selection and set it to Automatic
  • Try removing and reinserting your SIM card (if applicable)
  • Check whether you can make calls to other numbers to confirm if the issue is specific to 101
  • If you are using an eSIM, try toggling the line off and back on in your settings
