    Hi @FDobDob

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

We understand your concern about seeing a different number listed under your mobile data settings.

This can be cause by number porting, please confirm the make and model of your phone.

    Thank you,

    Hi @FDobDob ,

Thanks for confirming that, and I’m really sorry for the confusion.

What you’re seeing on both iPhones is a known display issue after a number port (from O2). The number shown under mobile data/eSIM settings can sometimes stay as a temporary or old profile number even after the correct ported number is active.

    Good news:
    • Your correct ported number is active and working normally
    • Calls, texts, and data are all using the right number
    • This is only a display label issue on the phone

Unfortunately, iPhone doesn’t allow this number to be manually changed, as it’s controlled by the SIM/eSIM profile.

    You can try:
    • Restart both phones
    • Toggle Airplane Mode
    • Check for carrier settings updates

Thank you for responding - there doesn’t appear to be an option to update the carrier settings

    Hi @FDobDob,

Could you please try the following.

Go to Settings > Phone > My Number.

If it’s wrong, tap and manually edit it to your correct iD Mobile number.

    Restart your iPhone afterwards.

    Thanks,
    Hosai
