Hi @VitalijLabutis

Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m sorry to hear you and your partner are experiencing issues with WiFi Calling at home.

As WiFi Calling is working correctly on other WiFi networks, this would suggest the issue may be related to the home broadband/router settings rather than the SIM cards or handsets themselves.

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Restart both handsets and the Vodafone broadband router
  2. Ensure WiFi Calling is enabled on both devices:
  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Connections
  • Select WiFi Calling
  • Ensure this is switched on
  1. Set the handset to 4G only:
  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Connections
  • Select Mobile Networks
  • Tap Network Mode
  • Select LTE/3G/2G (Auto Connect)
  1. Forget and reconnect to the home WiFi network:
  • Go to Settings > WiFi
  • Select your home network
  • Tap Forget
  • Reconnect using the WiFi password
  1. Check whether the router has any WiFi Calling, VoIP, firewall, or security restrictions enabled, as these can sometimes block voice traffic
  2. If possible, try connecting the phones to the 2.4GHz WiFi band instead of 5GHz, or vice versa, to test the connection stability
  3. Ensure both handsets are fully up to date with the latest software version

As both devices are experiencing the same issue only on the home Vodafone broadband connection, this does point more towards the broadband/router connection affecting the WiFi Calling audio path.

If the issue continues after trying the above, please let us know and we can investigate further with you.

Hi @VitalijLabutis

Thank you for the information.

If WiFi Calling works on all other WiFi connections except on Vodafone Broadband, then the issue is most likely related to that specific network/router rather than your iD Mobile SIM or device.

This can happen if the Vodafone router is restricting or blocking the required VoWiFi (IMS) traffic needed for WiFi Calling. In some cases, router settings such as firewall, parental controls, or content filtering can prevent this service from working correctly.

Things you can try:
Restart both your router and phone
Check if parental controls or firewall settings are enabled on the router
If possible, temporarily lower the firewall/security settings and test again

WiFi Calling relies on specific UDP/IMS connections, and strict network filtering can sometimes interrupt this service.

It seems the issue may be on the Vodafone side, as something in their network configuration may be preventing WiFi Calling from working correctly.

It may be worth asking them to check how the traffic is being routed on their broadband connection, as this could be affecting the service.

If you need any information from our side to support your query with them, please let us know and we will be happy to help.
