WiFi Calling no longer working on Google Pixel 9 Pro

WiFi calling has stopped working on my Pixel 9 Pro. I'm not sure when exactly it stopped working but it's been at least a week. 

If I go into aeroplane mode while still connected to WiFi and try to make a call, I message pops up saying "please turn off aeroplane mode or connect to a WiFi network".

I have a work phone (Pixel 6 Pro) on Vodafone and that can make WiFi calls fine on the same WiFi network. 

I rely heavily on WiFi calling as signal in my flat is non-existent

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with WiFi Calling on your Google Pixel 9 Pro.

Could you please check if your device is running the latest software version? If not, go ahead and update it. Once the update is complete, restart your phone and then test to see if WiFi Calling is working.

Hi Micheal, 

 

Yes, I'm on the just up to date version of Android and everything else is up to date too.

I've also tried resetting my network settings but that didn't work either.

Could you please try the following steps to refresh your WiFi Calling connection:

Turn off WiFi Calling on your device.

Enable Airplane Mode and leave it on for a few minutes.

Turn off Airplane Mode and wait about 30 seconds.

Turn WiFi Calling back on and test to see if the feature is working.

Let me know if this helps or if you continue to experience any issues.
