wifi calling not working iD 64.2

iPhone 14, iOS 18.6, carrier settings iD 64.2.

WiFi calling doesn’t work, calls not coming through or able to be made.

Works fine on iPhones (same iOS) with other carriers like EE and Vodafone; so it’s ID mobile problem.

Have turned phone off and on, reset phone carrier settings, tried airplane mode, WiFi off/on, vpn off completely, everything.   It’s been like this for days now, both on iOS 18.6 and the version before (I updated to latest 18.6 to try to resolve it).

I only have 1 bar 4g of that in the house so without WiFi calling it’s useless.  Unless it gets sorted I’ll have no option but to switch from iD.

If all else fails then you contact the Live Chat:-

Type ‘Talk to a person’ in the dialogue box to connect to an adviser

    Good luck x

No it didn’t work. I followed all the steps.

     I’m trying live chat now.

Live chat with ‘Zizipho’ had me reset my phone network settings again.

Then basically said they cannot help, it’s a coverage issue.  Even though I have enough cell signal to make and receive a call without WiFi, apparently they said it’s not good enough to use for WiFi calling and they cannot help me.

They also cannot explain why it doesn’t work now but it used to be reliable, and also why it works on my partner’s phone who uses 3 network.

Another advisor recommended the following steps and said this almost always works:

Go to settings, phone, my phone number.

Tap on my phone number, delete it. Hit save.  Put it back in again, hit save.

    Settings, message, Turn off iMessage.

Settings, phone, reset, reset network settings.

Once on, settings, message, turn on Imessage.

    it didn’t work.
