On the iPhone, navigate to:

Settings > Apps > Phone > My number

Ensure the correct mobile number is displayed. It should begin with +447, not 07.

Sending iD support a private message using Facebook Messenger or Instagram should get a response from a real person, once you have verified yourself as a genuine iD customer, @Biglittlemonkey.

Hi, @Biglittlemonkey

Thank you for reaching out. I understand how frustrating it must be to have Wi-Fi calling working perfectly on your Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, but not on your wife’s iPhone 17, especially with poor signal at home.

To enable Wi-Fi calling on the iPhone 17, please follow these steps:

Go to Settings > Cellular > Wi-Fi Calling (or Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling) and turn the feature on.

If that doesn’t help, your wife can try resetting the network settings on her iPhone 17:

Open Settings

Tap General

Scroll down and select Transfer or Reset iPhone

Tap Reset

Choose Reset Network Settings

Enter the passcode if prompted and confirm

Note: This will erase saved Wi-Fi passwords, VPN settings, and cellular settings, so you’ll need to reconnect to Wi-Fi networks afterward.
Your iPhone will restart, and network settings will be reset.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble accessing our live chat. Please feel free to reach out to us privately via our social channels on Facebook or Instagram, through our community forum, or by emailing us at socialqueries@idmobile.co.uk
. We’d be happy to check the coverage in your area and assist further.

Thanks again for your patience!

Still no joy. I have contacted id by Facebook but keep missing their messages because their reply is not instant.

Alas, their social media support is not real-time, @Biglittlemonkey.

In my experience iD support via their social media seems better than iD Live Chat.

This community discussion is worth a read and might help.
