Wrongly charged for roaming

I am visiting Greece which is included as a ‘Roam Free’ destination, however, ID Mobile thinks I’m in Albania and has charged me roaming costs. It’s now maxed out my bill cap so I can’t make any calls without paying even more, and I can’t access live chat because I have an iPhone and use safari.

Please can you explain how I can get my bill corrected to reflect I’m in a Roam Free destination (and not Albania!!!).

Hey there ​@Bob Carr, when going to Greece, you can sometimes connect to the Albanian networks if near the border, of if your phone is set to automatic network selection. Before going abroad, even to inclusive countries, we’d recommend setting your bill cap to £0.00 to block any chance of being charged or connecting to the Albanian networks, or to set your network selection to manual instead.

Thanks Tyler. I was unaware of the automatic network selection until this incident, so I turned off automatic network selection as soon as I was informed of the charges.

 

I’ve been charged £25 (my bill cap) for using Albanian data which doesn’t seem fair considering I’m not even in that country. Please can you advise how I can get the £25 charge removed from my upcoming bill.
