For reference, roaming in Switzerland costs £1.50 per MB, so the £45 charge covers approximately 30MB of data usage.
 

You can view your detailed usage in the iD Mobile app:

Open the app and log in.

Tap Plan > Usage & Bill > View Charges / Itemised Usage.

Check the roaming section for Switzerland to see exactly how the £45 was applied.

Hi both,

I understand the cost for roaming in Switzerland. But to have switched roaming on for less than 5 mins to send two WhatsApp messages and check a telephone number, I can’t see how that would equate to £45 worth of charges. 

Your phone uses data in the background for other tasks.

Did you get anywhere fighting this? Have had similar… crossing into Switzerland for about 3 hours…
