I have been trying for two days to pay a bill I did not have a plan or account number or a mobile number for, I’ve been paying by direct debit for over a year I got a new phone in Dec 25 and stated I wanted to keep my number the phone arrived with a SIM card I binned this sim and put my original ID sim in the new phone, My wife also had an ID account which run its course and is now closed, So for over a year I have been forced to pay £32.00 a month for a SIM card I never asked for or wanted, Now ID are threatening me with debt collecting agencies because up until now since cancelling the direct debit I had no acc number or phone number there is nothing at all about this charge on my ID account nothing, I had to go through hoops to get the account and phone number so I can pay this bill but I can’t pay it manually because to pay the bill I’ve got to fill in a form with my Name DOB and the Phone number which they get back to me stating we have sent a OTP to phone number 074445 I don’t and since day one of this deal never used the sim or the number it’s NUTS what is wrong with these people How can someone pay a bill when there are blockades all over the shop

Hi @Paddy Mac,

We’re really sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve had trying to access and pay the bill.

In order to resolve this, you’ll need access to the account linked to the second plan. As the OTP is being sent to the number associated with that SIM, the best option would be to contact our Live Chat team and request a replacement SIM for that plan so you can regain access to it.

Once you have the replacement SIM, you’ll be able to receive the verification text, register the plan correctly, and then manage or clear the outstanding balance.

You can reach our team here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

We’re sorry again for the inconvenience caused, and if you need anything further, please let us know.

Regards,

Gemma M
