hi, I was charde £16 for a week usage. I bought a sim around 17 May 2026 and it arrived around 21 and activated around 23/05/2026 and I got charged for direct debit on 30/May 2026.

I think this charge should be refunded and I should not be due for any changes until at least mid June 2026 when the sim was ordered.

Thank you for getting in touch with us, and I’m sorry for any confusion regarding your charges.

 

I understand your concern that you were billed shortly after activating your SIM and feel this should be refunded or adjusted.

To clarify, your first monthly charge is usually taken shortly after activation of your SIM and is not based on the date the SIM was ordered or delivered. Billing begins from the date the SIM is activated and your contract becomes live, not the delivery date.

 

However, I appreciate that you feel the charge on 30 May may not be aligned with your expected billing cycle. I will be happy to review your account in more detail to check:
• Your activation date
• Your billing cycle dates
• The £16 charge and what it relates to
