Hi. I am in vietnam at the moment and my phone updated overnight and my roaming data got automatically activated despite my phone being on plane mode prior to that. How is that possible when my bill cap was set to be 5£? Now i received a message that my bill cap is 45£ and I ve already used 80% of the data despite not having touched my phone all night. This is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Why do we have contracts and control measures in place then if you can override them? Please review and advise if all this is a mistake.
