Billed after cancelling

I signed up to a rolling monthly contract, after 5 days I decided I wasn’t happy so I cancelled the contract. Since then another monthly payment was taken from my account and I have received an email saying a further months bill is going to be taken. I have been on live chat but was basically fobbed off.

I’m really sorry that live chat wasn’t able to provide clear answers for you. It seems that you were charged for the amount of days that the account was active. 

If the contract was returned and disconnected within 5 days from the contract start date you would only be charged for those 5 days.

the rolling contract was for £8 a month, I have been charged £16 and have been billed for a further £8.
