Hi I have noticed my bill is £37 of which £25 is for data and texts etc I have just landed in Montenegro and all I have done is turn my phone on. Can you advise

Thanks for your post. I’m sorry for any confusion caused.

 

Montenegro is not included in our standard 50+ inclusive roaming destinations. This means that any usage there (including data, calls or texts) is classed as chargeable roaming.

 

As you’ve only turned your phone on, it’s possible it has connected briefly to the local network, which can trigger data usage in the background.

 

To help prevent any further charges while you’re abroad, you can reduce your bill cap to £0 in your account settings, which will stop any additional chargeable usage.
