can i cancel my direct debit and just pay each month?

I want to cancel my direct debit because its always taken near the end of the month but I get paid near the beginning. All my bills go out between the 6th-8th of the month because I get paid on the 6th every month. My id bill doesnt get taken until 21st, its annoying. I want all the bills to go out together but moving the date just means a higher bill. So if I cancel the direct debit, can I just come online to pay it every month once my bill has been generated???

Yes, you can cancel your Direct Debit and make your payments manually each month instead.

Once your bill has been generated, you can pay it:

Through the iD Mobile app.
Via your My Account online.
By calling our automated payment line on 0333 003 0001 or 7777 from your iD Mobile phone.

Just keep in mind that payments will need to be made by the due date each month to avoid any late payment charges or impact on your credit file.
