changed my plan still charging me the same as my old plan

Hello. On the 1 or 2nd of August I upgraded my SIM card so I would be paying £8 instead of £34 a month. However I’ve just been billed and it’s tried to charge me £34 again. Luckily I saw last night and withdrew my money so it wouldn’t take that amount
