Your data will work in France as it is part of our EU roaming destinations, so you can use your UK allowance as you would at home.

However, Switzerland is not included in our 50 EU roaming destinations, so standard roaming charges will not apply under your inclusive allowance.

When travelling to Switzerland, we would recommend purchasing a roaming data add-on either the day before you travel or once you arrive. You can do this easily via the iD Mobile app using the steps below:

Open the iD Mobile app and sign in
Tap Plan at the bottom of the screen
Scroll down and select View add-ons
Choose Roam Beyond (for destinations outside the free roaming countries)
Select your destination/country
Pick the roaming data add-on you require
Tap Confirm to purchase

iD Mobile currently offers Roam Beyond add-ons such as:

2GB for 1 day
10GB for 5 days
20GB for 10 days

A few useful things to note:

In 50 roaming destinations, you can use your UK allowance at no extra cost (up to 30GB)
Roam Beyond add-ons activate immediately after purchase
To avoid unexpected charges, we recommend purchasing the add-on before travel or while connected to Wi-Fi abroad
You may also need to enable data roaming on your phone before use
