So with data rollover

Month one I only used 10 gb of my 40gb allowance

Month two 30gb was rollovered so I had 70gb

So Month three I know any unused  data from Month one doesn't rollover but If I haven't used any of my 40gb allowance from Month two does that rollover to Month three? I.e. I would have 80gb

Hi @Timbo69,

I’m really sorry for any confusion around data rollover it can be a bit tricky, so I’ll break it down clearly for you.

📊 How data rollover works on iD Mobile

Data rollover only applies to unused data from your most recent month, and it can only be carried over once.

📅 Using your example
Month 1:

  • Allowance: 40GB
  • Used: 10GB
  • Unused: 30GB → rolls into Month 2 ✅

Month 2:

  • Allowance: 40GB + 30GB rollover = 70GB

Now, here’s the key part:

👉 Any unused data from Month 1 (the 30GB rollover) will expire at the end of Month 2 if not used.

Month 3:

Only unused data from Month 2’s core allowance (40GB) can roll over.

So if you didn’t use any of your 40GB in Month 2:

  • That 40GB will roll over into Month 3

✅ Final answer

Yes — in your scenario:

  • Month 3 would give you:
  • 40GB (new allowance)
  • 40GB (unused from Month 2)

👉 Total = 80GB

⚠️ Key rule to remember

  • Rollover data lasts 1 month only
  • You always use rollover data first
  • Any unused rollover data expires after that month
