Data Usage

My data usage for this month has ran out. I never use more than 2-4 gh a month in over 5 years. I am doing nothing differently but my data usage has jumped to 7.5gb this month. 

 

Where can I find daily usage and details. My phone says I've only used 2 gb

    Thank you for getting in touch. I’m sorry to hear that your data usage has suddenly increased when your usual usage is much lower.

    You can check your daily mobile data usage directly on your phone, which should help you compare it with the usage showing on your iD Mobile account.

    • iPhone: Go to Settings → Mobile Service/Mobile Data and scroll down to see which apps have used your mobile data.
    • Android: Go to Settings → Connections/Network & Internet → Data Usage → Mobile Data Usage. You should then be able to see how much data each app has used.

    Please be aware that iD Mobile cannot see which apps or websites have used your data. From our side, we can only see the dates and times when data was used/connected, rather than the specific apps or websites responsible for the usage.

    If your phone is showing around 2GB but your iD Mobile account is showing 7.5GB, our team can check the usage recorded on your account and compare the dates and times with you.
