Debit debit not taken

Hello,

Joined ID Mobile on the 1st December SIM only the bill was created on the 2nd, with payment due on the 16th December by direct debit. No monies has been taken today, but logging into my Id mobile app says payment taken on the 14th of December.

Customer service on live chat told me to wait a few days; my bank has no problems processing direct debits.

Where do I go from here?

Maybe check if the direct debit worked later this week on 19th Dec, ​@coconutxone.

I completely understand how confusing this must be. From what you’ve described, your bill was generated on 2nd December, with payment due on 16th December.
Sometimes, the iD Mobile app may show a payment date in advance (like 14th December) even if the direct debit hasn’t actually left your bank yet,  this is usually just a system display.

Since your bank has no issues processing direct debits, the payment should be collected automatically on the due date.
At this point, the best approach is to wait a couple of days after the due date, and if the payment hasn’t been taken by then, we can check your account and direct debit setup to make sure everything is in order.

Quick update the direct debit payment has indeed been taken out today; just checked my online banking.
