Direct Debit detains not accepted

"Oops something went wrong, please try later" is the response to my bank details.

Customer service helpfully suggest trying later, which I have been doing or over 4 weeks. 

They say they've raised a ticket but neglected to give me any details. 

Double checked with my bank that there are no problems there. 

So, what do I do next?
