direct debit never comes out

I setup my direct debit it states it is setup but I get constant texts saying it is setup but it never gets taken I setup direct debits to help me with my finances and because it is hot and miss it makes everything out of sync the direct debit was last requested on my bank 29/12/2025 but it is still an active direct debit

I understand how important it is for your Direct Debit to be reliable, especially for managing your finances. If your Direct Debit is showing as set up but payments are not being taken, this usually means there may be a mismatch between the mandate and the billing cycle, or the payment attempt has not been successfully collected by the bank.

As you’ve mentioned the last request showing on 29/12/2025, I will need to review your account and Direct Debit setup to confirm what is happening and ensure it is correctly active and being used for future payments.
