So I accidentally paid my monthly bill twice and now have one months payment in my credit/allowance. Just wondering if my direct debit for next month will still collect the full amount essentially me paying twice?

Hi @Graces.26,

Thank you for your message.

No, you won't end up paying twice. If you've accidentally made an extra payment, the credit will remain on your account and will automatically be applied to your next bill.

If the credit on your account fully covers next month's bill, your Direct Debit will be adjusted to £0.00, meaning no payment will be collected from your bank. If your next bill is higher than the credit available, for example due to any out-of-plan charges, your Direct Debit will only collect the remaining balance.

I hope this helps, but please let us know if you have any further questions and we'll be happy to assist.

Thanks,
