Direct debits not being set up

Hi I have tried to set up a direct debit multiple times for my phone bill as you can see from the screenshots you keep texting saying its been done and I keep being cut off saying its not been paid so I have to keep going on to pay the bill now I'm receiving debt collection letters can you please tell me what is going on

Probably best to resolve this issue by using the iD online Live Chat service, to speak to a customer adviser ​@Ginbax1    

The advisers work until 8pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends - just tell the 24/7 chatbot you’d like to “talk to a person”.
