Do i get a refund on the overlap of contract when i upgrade?

I am a little way into my current month. My contract finished a month or two ago but have still been paying the same. On upgrading, it appears I am being charged again for the month, so there’s an overlap where I’m paying twice for the service. Can I avoid this or get a refund on my over payment?

Your contract hasn’t ended; it doesn’t end until you port out or provide iD Mobile with the required 30 days’ notice. Service continues at the current rate on a 30-day rolling basis until you upgrade, port out, or submit a cancellation request. So to answer your question, no, you won’t be getting a refund.

I’m not changing number or supplier. I’m with ID mobile and am upgrading with a new ID mobile 24 month contract with a new handset.
