Final bill charge even though no usage

I returned my new phone before even opening the package or inserting the sim card so there was no usage but I am still being charged a final bill of £5.26

Why?

An iD SIM is activated upon dispatch, meaning you’ve been connected to the iD network, @lypt

Whether or not you use the iD SIM, you’ll be charged for the number days your iD SIM is connected to the iD network.

As @andewhite states above. It’s pro rata billing charge for the days between activation and cancellation (line rental).

Hey there @lypt, we hope the kind and correct advice from both @andewhite & @MZone has been able to help.

You’d be charged for the line-rental from the moment it opened-close, whether used or not.

Thanks,

Tyler
