I have been overcharged for my data limit that I did not use

We got our bill receipt for this month to total to £114 in comparison to the roughly £40 we pay a month. When I changed the receipt for it on the app it stated I had used over 99,000 MB of data which is simply not true. After I got my 80% allowance used and then 100% text message, I stopped using my data and did not put my data on once whatsoever as continued to use wifi. I then changed my plan a week before its renewal for unlimited data. I would like an answer of explanation as to how and why this was charged this way and any possibility for a refund as this is simply wrong.
