I have already tried a different payment method and different browsers, but I am still stuck on the same Verifone payment page during the £0.01 identity check. The checkout does not move past the payment verification step. Please can you check whether there is a problem with my order, account, or the payment gateway?

To help us look into this further, could you please let us know which payment methods you’ve already tried? Was this via the app, website, did you call if yes, which numbers. If you can list the ones you’ve used, we can suggest any other steps that may work.
