inadvertently paid my bill twice

My direct debit didn’t go through, so I paid immediately by debit card. I see now that a direct debit came out a few days later. I have now paid twice for the month. How does the money get returned to me, I seem unable to talk to a human being,

I can see what’s happened here: your failed Direct Debit was still reprocessed after you made a card payment, which has resulted in a duplicate payment being taken.

 

💳 Refund process

I do need to be clear that we can’t process or issue refunds directly from this channel.

 

Your duplicate payment will need to be:

  • Checked by our Customer Service/Billing team
  • Verified against your account
  • Then refunded back to the original payment method (bank account or card, depending on how each payment was taken)
