Question

Is my rollover data capped to below 50GB?

Hi.

I get 25gb per month data that's supposed to roll over but the day before credit it can be on 46gb but when the new credit shows new amount next day, it never goes beyond 50gb.

I can't see anything in my plan that says it's capped at 50gb and I don't use anything that will suddenly use 20gb, can anyone explain this phenomenon? I've been on the plan since 2024 and it's always been like this.

Thanks for your help

    Hi @Tara200,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Data Rollover only carries over the unused data from your previous month, and this is then added to your new monthly allowance.

For example, if your plan includes 25GB and you have 20GB remaining at the end of the month:

    • 20GB unused data rolls over.
    • Your new 25GB monthly allowance is added.
    • You’ll therefore start the new month with 45GB.

If you had the full 25GB remaining, you could start the following month with a maximum of 50GB. Data doesn’t continue accumulating month after month, as rollover data is only valid for the following month.

This is why you’re never seeing your allowance go above 50GB on a 25GB plan.
