So I’ve just signed up. Waiting for the SIM to arrive. Does the monthly payment start from now or when I activate the SIM?? Working out dates for current provider so I don’t end up paying both

    Hi @lolly6891,

Thanks for your post and welcome to iD Mobile.

Your contract will start from the date that the agreement is accepted, rather than when you activate the SIM. It's also worth noting that monthly line rental charges are billed in advance, while any out-of-plan usage is charged in arrears.

If you're planning to transfer your number from your current provider, we'd recommend keeping your existing service active until the transfer has completed to avoid any disruption.

I hope this helps with your planning.

    Regards,

Thankyou so I’ve seen to leave my current provider will cost best part of £160+ defeats the object of trying to save money so will switch to id later when that charge isn’t so high but when I log in whilst using my phone with current sim…it only accepts the number for the id sim and that’s not in a phone to receive the message. Because I want to cancel the switch and can’t x
