Question

negative credit impact after accounts closed!

Hi all. I closed all 3 of my id mobile accounts in september, and settled all of them in full. Since september on a monthly basis id mobile have been issuing non payment reports on my credit file for £1 even though all my accounts are settled. Has anyone else had the same issue? Ive raised it as a complaint but as yet have not heard back. Not sure how to resolve this. Thanks all.

    Hi @Ljinfluence

I understand how frustrating a situation like this can be and it being detrimental to your credit score.

Your best option is to contact the iD Mobile team to get to the bottom of this.

     https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

When you contact the Live Chat :-

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box and this will bypass the chatbot.

Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.

You can also contact iD Mobile via:-

Send a private message via their Socials (Facebook, X or Instagram)
    iD Mobile social media accounts:-

    or email socialqueries@idmobile.co.uk.

    Good luck x

    Hello,

Did you get a response from ID regarding this? We are experiencing the same issue. Charged £3 for 2 months after cancelling. Not been informed of this payment and now displaying on credit report. No idea why I’m being charged this?!

    Hi @Autofill3527 ,

Sorry to hear you’re having the same issue. This usually happens when the account shows as active or there are small outstanding charges that weren’t cleared properly.

You’ll need to contact iD Mobile directly so they can investigate and remove the incorrect credit report entry. You can do this via Live Chat: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat
(type “talk to a person” to bypass the chatbot).

Please include your name, mobile number, account reference, and a screenshot of the credit report entry.
