I am currently out of contract but still in credit to the sum of £21.36. I have now started a new 12 month contract, can you confirm that my old 24 month will be cancelled and my new contract credited with the sum of £21.36.

Kindly be advised that if you’ve upgraded your old 24 month contract to a 12 month SIM only plan. This is considered and upgrade and not a new contract and the credit will go to your future bills for your new plan. 

 

If you have a new plan we’d be happy to look into cancelling the old plan for you and transferring the credit over to the new plan for you.

Yes please, please do that. Just spent ages on the chat so part of this may have been done. I wish I had saw this comment before I went on there, because boy was that stressful, it seems they don’t have the ability to apply the same common sense approach as you have. 
My confusion was due to the app always stating that I can’t upgrade due to not having a DD. You telling me that this is an upgrade is news to me.
To summarise. Please close my old account and refund my overpayment. Could you confirm when this has been done.

Any update on this? I no longer want to use my pay monthly account and do not want to pay for this service.
