new sim only contract HELP

I have took out an additional sim contract only for my son in my name. 
I can’t find it on my account under “my plans” and to top it off I received messages on the new SIM card from id mobile calling me “harry”??? I’m a woman 😬 help needed asap

We’re sorry to hear about the confusion with your new SIM and understand why this would be concerning.

 

Firstly, regarding the name shown in messages this can sometimes appear incorrectly due to pre-set system data on newly activated SIMs and does not affect your account or services.

 

In terms of the SIM not appearing under “My Plans”, additional SIM Only contracts do not always automatically display on the main view straight away. You may need to add it manually:

 

To add the SIM in the iD Mobile app:

  • Open the iD Mobile app
  • Go to Settings or Account
  • Select Add a plan / Add a number
  • Enter the mobile number, surname and date of birth linked to the SIM
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to link it
