Over Charged for Leaving ID

I recently left ID Mobile after my contract was up. I waited until then to get a PAC code so I could transfer my number over once my plan had ended.

I was emailed my final bill which I paid, with no further payments to make, I cancelled my plan.

I was then presented with a message telling me I had an outstanding bill of £55.98, which I tried to query, but their customer service is diabolical and the online chat bot is beyond useless.

After a couple of weeks or so of enjoying saving a fortune on my new network, I was horrified to get an email from a debt collector threatening me with legal action if I didn’t pay the outstanding balance.

If I am told that my final bill is less than £8, that is what the final bill is, not another month of line rental that I do not want or am going to use after cancelling the plan and taking my business elsewhere.

    Hi @TW_007

I am so sorry to hear about the experience you've had.

I can understand how frustrating and concerning it must be to receive a debt collection notice after being advised that your final bill had been settled and after you had already transferred your number and left iD Mobile.

Kindly note that we would like to investigate this further for you, as we appreciate your concerns regarding the outstanding balance of £55.98. Please send us a private message via our socials (Facebook or Instagram).

    Thank you
