You can make a payment early if you'd like to, but we can't confirm whether doing so will improve your credit score.

In general, credit reference agencies are more interested in whether payments are made on time and whether your account is managed correctly, rather than whether payments are made before the due date.

If you already pay by Direct Debit and the payments are being collected successfully each month, there's usually no need to pay early unless you personally prefer to do so.

If you'd like to make an early payment, you can do so at any time through the iD Mobile app, online account, or by calling 0333 003 0001 or 7777 from your iD Mobile phone and following the payment prompts.
