RCS ios ID Mobile - still no? works on Three

Is RCS still not working on id mobile? I'm sending group messages with people on Android (all networks), iOS Vodafone, iOS EE, iOS three, iOS o2 - but I can't add 1 friend. They're on id mobile.

Id runs on some of three's network. Three support RCS on iOS now. https://www.three.co.uk/support/calls-emails-and-messages/rich-communication-services

Still not on ID mobile iOS?

The only MNVO offering RCS is 1p mobile, which uses the EE network.

Ah that's a shame. Hopefully they all get on it sooner rather than later or people are going to get left out of group chats!

Wait no that can't be true. I have RCS on Lebara and they're an mvno

Are you certain? Lebara uses the Vodafone network and Vodafone itself doesn’t support RCS on iOS devices.

Quite disappointing that it still doesn’t

iD Support

Hi @richardmajor86

We understand your disappointment. At the moment, RCS on iOS is dependent on network support and configuration, and we’re unable to confirm or guarantee availability across all networks or devices.

We appreciate your feedback on this, and we’ll be sure to pass it on internally.

Thank you,
