replacing a pay montly sim with esim

I am 10 days away from my 24mth contract end and I wanted to move to a sim only deal. I have paid for and downloaded an eSIM. Am I now paying for both or will the eSIM cancel the monthly contract?

    I wanted to move to a sim only deal.

    You should have upgraded your plan instead of purchasing a new one. Now you have two plans, and you’re responsible for paying both until you cancel one. Unfortunately, you can’t transfer your number from your old plan to the new one.
