reporting credit file issue

Hello,

my contract is started in 20 August but yet now showing in my credit files Transunion and Equifax. I contacted them and after checking details said can’t find on data base and most contact you.In Equifax can see hard search from your company. Please help to resolve this issue.

My contract doesn't appear in my Equifax credit file and they couldn't find it when I followed them either.

Hi ​@aghaeian  is the plan taken out in your name and with your details? It may be worth checking again in 30 days, to give time for all systems to align after your first bill.

Thanks for getting in touch and for sharing the screenshot, that’s really helpful.

I understand your concern, but please be assured this is normal and not an error with your account.

Here’s what’s happening:

-Your contract started on 20 August, which means it’s still relatively new

-iD Mobile reports account data to credit reference agencies monthly, not in real time

-For newly opened accounts, it can take 1–3 billing cycles before the account itself appears on TransUnion and Equifax

-The hard search you’re seeing on Equifax confirms the credit check was completed successfully when the account was opened
 

As Equifax mentioned in their response, they won’t be able to add or amend the account manually, the information must be supplied by the lender (iD Mobile) as part of the regular reporting cycle.

Thank you for your reply and for taking the time to explain the process.

 

I’d just like to add a bit more context and kindly ask for your help.

 

My contract started in August, and since the opening date I have paid all bills on time with no missed or late payments. I have now completed more than 3 full billing cycles.

 

As the account has been active and in good standing for several months, I wanted to check whether it should now be expected to appear on TransUnion and Equifax, or if there is anything further required from my side.

 

I fully understand that reporting is done monthly and not manually — I’m just trying to understand the expected timeline and would appreciate any guidance or confirmation you can provide.
