How do I get rest of the world charges refunded from my May bill. At no time whilst I was abroad did I switch on roaming ,except for a short period on Reunion Island, which is a French settlement and is included in my package. You have charged me £20 for something that was switched off ie;- roaming?????

Hi @Chrishay89,

Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m sorry to hear about the unexpected roaming charges on your May bill.

We completely understand your concern, especially if you believe roaming was switched off for the majority of your trip. In some cases, charges can still occur if the device briefly connects to a chargeable network in the background, even for a short period of time.

As Reunion Island is a French territory, eligibility and roaming inclusions can sometimes depend on the specific network the phone connected to whilst there.

Unfortunately, we would not be able to review or refund bill charges directly here on the community, as this would require account access and a detailed review of the roaming usage.

We’d therefore recommend contacting our Live Chat team so they can investigate the charges further and check whether any refund or adjustment may be applicable in your situation.

You can contact them by clicking here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

We’re sorry again for the frustration caused.

Regards,
