I sent a SMS to a standard UK mobile number but I sent it with +44 and no leading zero.

I was charged for an “out of bundle” message

Is this correct???

Hi @AlanJolly65,

Sorry for the confusion around this charge.

Sending a text with +44 instead of the leading 0 is normally fine and shouldn’t affect whether it’s included or not. Charges like this usually depend on whether the number you contacted is classed as a standard UK mobile number or a non-standard/premium number.

To check this, we’d recommend taking a look at our call and message charges page here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-support/call-charges, this will show which numbers are included in your allowance and which may be charged as out-of-bundle.

If you’ve checked and the number doesn’t appear to be listed as a non-standard number, just let us know and we’ll be happy to take a closer look into this for you.

Regards,
