Hi @DEXTER53,

We're sorry to hear you've received this.

From what you've described, it sounds like a scam voicemail. We would never leave a voicemail asking for payment because you've used all of your minutes, especially if you're on an unlimited minutes plan.

We'd recommend blocking and reporting the number, and not calling it back or providing any personal or payment details.

For reference, the only payment methods we offer are via:

  • The iD Mobile app or My Account online.
  • Our automated payment lines: 0333 003 0001, 0333 003 7777, or by dialling 7777 from your iD Mobile phone.

If you have any concerns about your account or bill, please contact our Customer Service team via Live Chat.

Regards,

I’ve just had a call from someone saying they’re calling from 3 on behalf of IDMobile, offering me 45% off my monthly bill charge and saying that my existing contract quotas of minutes, texts and data will remain the same… but they said unlimited data, which i do not have and when i questioned this, the line went quiet and I hung up. Just checking that this was indeed spam as he almost convinced me!! I didn’t confirm any details with them and the number was just a mobile number. I get 6 or 8 spam calls a day, it is driving me insane!!

Hi @ladyfenrir ,

Thank you for your message.

From the information you've provided, this appears to have been a spam call. No one from Three would contact you on behalf of iD Mobile to offer you a new plan.

We recommend that you:

Block and report the number.
Avoid calling the number back.
Do not provide any personal, account, or payment details.

If you receive any further suspicious calls or have any concerns about your account, please let us know and we'll be happy to look into it for you.
