You have taken a payment yesterday for £24.99 which should not have been taken. I altered my pay date to the first of each month and you confirmed to me that the first payment would be on the first of November and would be £34.04. Because you have taken £24.99 from my bank yesterday I have now gone overdrawn and incurred bank charges

    Hi @Niddboy,

I’m sorry to hear about the unexpected payment and that this has resulted in you going overdrawn.

If the £24.99 bill had already been generated and the Direct Debit was pending before you changed your payment date, that payment would still have been collected on the original due date. Changing your payment date only takes effect from the following billing period.

Once a Direct Debit payment is already pending, changing the payment date won’t stop that payment. A payment arrangement or bill extension would have needed to be agreed beforehand, where applicable, and the Direct Debit stopped for that payment.

Your new payment date will apply to the following billing period, so we’d recommend checking your latest bill and upcoming payment information in the iD Mobile app to confirm the dates and amounts.

You can find more information about changing your Direct Debit payment date here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/directdebit

    Regards,
