when will my direct debit go out
My bill is taken on the 21st August but goes out on the 23rd for some reason but ive been in hospital so wasn't able to put the money in my account, money is now im my account today when will it be taken

I'm sorry to hear you've been in hospital, and I hope you're feeling better.
Your Direct Debit is usually collected around 14 days after your bill (invoice) is generated. If there weren't sufficient funds available when the payment was due, the collection date can vary depending on the bank and the payment process, so for example, if you received your invoice by 1August, payment would be due to 14 August and would be taken between 1 and 14 August.
If the money is available in your account now and you'd rather not wait, you're able to make a manual payment at any time by:
- Calling 0333 003 0001 or 7777 from your iD Mobile phone.
- Following the automated payment prompts.
As long as the payment is made on time, this will help keep your account up to date.
