My bill is normally £16 per month but this month is £26 and I'm certain I haven't used any additional add ons or usage. Help me understand why the bill is more expensive than normal

Hi @Markboateng

I do apologise that your bill is high than usual this month. Kindly contact the team via live chat or DM so that this can be investigated.

Hi @Markboateng

Have you downloaded the bill that is showing the increased charge?
The bill will show the individual charges incurred i.e. calls, texts, data etc, and you can then determine what (if any) out of plan costs you have had to pay for, if any e.g. use of short codes.

This info informs you about the different OOP charges:-
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/call-charges

If you don’t want any surprise costs then you can cap your bill.
Set it to the maximum £ you want to pay then you will know that your bill will be no greater than that month to month:-

Tap on Bills, scroll down to Manage bill cap, move the slider to where you want and click Save.

Good luck x

Hi @Markboateng ,

I’m sorry to hear your bill is higher than usual. 😟

Please download your latest bill, it will show all individual charges for calls, texts, data, or any out-of-plan costs (like short codes) so you can see exactly what caused the increase. You can also check this guide for more info on out-of-plan charges: ID Mobile Call Charges
.

If you want to avoid surprises in the future, you can set a bill cap:

Tap Bills in the app

Scroll down to Manage bill cap

Move the slider to your desired limit and click Save

This way, your monthly bill will never exceed the amount you set.
