Question

why is my direct debit not being taken on the date

My direct debit is set for the 15th of the month and hasn’t been taken. Why is this? What is the point of setting it up a payment when ID Mobile doesn’t take it!! I understand if it was a weekend or bank holiday but not during the middle of the week

     Hi @Joey79.

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry for the confusion around your direct debit not being taken.

Could you please double check that your direct debit is currently active? If this was set up or reactivated recently, please note it can take up to 10 working days for a new direct debit to become active, which may explain why the payment wasn't collected as expected.

If that is the case, you can make a manual payment by calling  0333 003 0001.

    Thanks,

    Marquerita

The direct debit is active as I’ve only been with ID Money since the 1st August. It did come out the 16th. Both direct debits have been taken a day later than they should have been

    Hi @Joey79,

Thanks for clarifying, and I'm sorry for any confusion with the payment dates.

It's possible that the Direct Debit was attempted on the expected date but wasn't successfully collected, and the payment was then retried the following day.

If you'd like to confirm exactly what happened with the payment attempts, we'd recommend contacting our Customer Service Team via Live Chat so they can review this for you: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

    Regards,
