I upgraded my plan and phone yesterday from the sim only at £8 per month to a new 24 month contract at £14.99 yet my bill is showing at £89.99 and my bill cap has been increased to £75 without my input.

    Hi @DonnyDave82,

Thanks for getting in touch, and we’re sorry for the concern this has caused.

When a plan is upgraded part-way through a billing cycle, the first bill after the upgrade can sometimes appear much higher than expected due to pro-rated billing. This means the bill can include:

    • Remaining charges from the previous SIM only plan
    • Charges for the new plan from the upgrade date onward
    • Any upfront or one-off adjustments linked to the upgrade timing

The bill cap may also automatically adjust during the upgrade process depending on the new agreement, although we understand this can come as a surprise.

As the amount showing is significantly higher than expected, we’d recommend contacting our Live Chat team so they can review the bill breakdown with you and make sure everything has been applied correctly.

We’re sorry again for the confusion caused.

    Regards,
