Question

4G/5G signal in G67 area is flappy

G67 2DP area used to have strong 4G and 5G signal for both indoor and outdoor.

However, the signal in these 2 weeks kept on and off, only very weak 4G signal can be used and no 5G at all.

The Three network status website showed no report of network problems in my area. Please follow up asap, thanks.

Hi @POYI

Thank you for getting in touch with us. We’re sorry to hear that the signal in the G67 2DP area has recently become weak and unstable. We understand how frustrating this can be, especially if the service was previously strong. Upon looking into the area, I can confirm that there are no network issues.

You can also check the coverage in your area using the following link:
https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage

Additionally, you may want to try the following steps:
Reinsert your SIM or try it in another phone. This will help determine whether the issue is with the handset or the SIM card.

For iPhone (iOS) – Reset Network Settings:
Go to Settings → General.
Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Confirm the reset when prompted.
Once complete, return to the home screen and restart your iPhone.

For Samsung – Reset Network Settings:
From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps → Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Network Operators.
Turn Select Automatically on or off.
Alternatively:
Go to Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Confirm by tapping Reset Settings.

Thank you,

Zandile

Thx for the reply. The issues happened to every people who use IDmobile or Three, not just the devices at my home. When my friends visit me, they have the same issues.  The 4G signal go on and off and no 5G detected.
