4G Internet running at incredibly low unusable speed

Mobile data is extremely slow and unreliable. Tried switching eSim on/off, reseting network settings, tried setting APN, restarting phone, airplane mode on/off. Nothing changes.

Seems to go up temporarily but immediately throttled again. During the start of the test it will go up to maybe 15-20 then immediately drop below 1. Strong connection at 3/4 bars, so that is not the issue.

The 5g speed is amazing but it rarely connected to 5g.

I have switched my old number over (yesterday transfer completed) , not sure if this affects anything but right now I'm looking to return and go with another network.

I have the same issue, except that the speeds are amazing between 5 and 8 a.m., but then they drop to such absurdly low speeds that it's unusable. If you can, switch providers because it seems like they're intentionally limiting speeds when there's a higher load. I plan to switch to Vodafone in a few days.

Hi @Zaza1994  and @JayJ ,

I’m really sorry you’re both experiencing slow and inconsistent data speeds. I understand how frustrating this is, especially when it works at certain times but drops significantly during the day.

Thanks for already trying troubleshooting such as eSIM resets, network settings, APN checks, restarts, and airplane mode.

Please try:
Locking your device to 4G only to test stability
Testing in different locations (indoors/outdoors)
Checking for background app usage or updates
Ensuring your device is fully updated
Testing the SIM in another device if possible

From what you’ve described (good speeds early morning but slow at peak times), this may be due to local congestion or 4G/5G switching in your area.

I’ve noted your concerns, including the impact after your number transfer. If this continues, we can escalate to our technical team for further investigation.
