Although your device may show a 5G connection with a strong signal, 5G isn't available everywhere and, in some locations, it may not provide as stable a connection as 4G. This can sometimes result in slow or no data connectivity even when the signal appears strong.

We recommend checking the coverage and any known network issues in your area using the iD Mobile Coverage Checker on our website.

In the meantime, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

• Restart your phone by switching it off for at least 30 seconds before turning it back on.
• Set your preferred network type to 4G/LTE instead of 5G and test your mobile data again.
• Toggle Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then switch it off.
• Ensure Mobile Data is enabled and that your data allowance hasn't been used up.
• Check that your device software is up to date.
• If possible, test your SIM in another compatible, unlocked handset to determine whether the issue is with the SIM or the device.

we have a 5G tower outside our house, and was fine until about a week or 2 ago.

ive turned my phone off, toggled airplane mode, mobile data is enabled.
