Activated new sim but still no mobile network, is this the APN Settings?

I have activated a new sim but there is still no mobile network. How to find out what the APN Settings should be to update them? Could the problem be something else?

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble getting a network connection after activating your new SIM.

 

APN settings are usually used for mobile data, so if you’re not getting any network signal at all (calls, texts, and data), it could be something else causing the issue.

 

Make sure the SIM is fully activated (this can sometimes take a little time after activation)
Restart your phone
Check that airplane mode is turned off

 

Please try the following network settings as well:

 

For iPhone (iOS) – Reset Network Settings:
Go to Settings → General.
Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Confirm the reset when prompted.
Once complete, return to the home screen and restart your iPhone.

For Samsung – Reset Network Settings:
From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps → Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Network Operators.
Turn Select Automatically on or off.
Alternatively:
Go to Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Confirm by tapping Reset Settings.
